Guilt and Grieving: Coping With the Losses That Come With Aging

Thursday, June 8

6-7:30 p.m.

Home Helpers

123 E. Ogden Ave., Ste. 102A

Hinsdale

Grief isn’t always about death. Those who are aging or caring for an older adult are likely to experience many types of loss along the way – loss of driving privileges, loss of independence and loss of physical and mental abilities, to name a few. Big life changes, such as divorce or illness, also can bring about feelings of grief at any stage of life.

Director of Education Jackie Raschke of Home Helpers in Hinsdale will discuss means of coping with such feelings, as well as the feelings of guilt that often accompany the responsibilities of a caregiver.

This event is free and open to all. Reserve your seat at jackie@maryandmikecare.com or call (630) 686-1369.

Guilt and Grief is one in a series of free educational events provided by Home Helpers to empower and inform caregivers and families. To receive emails about future events, please send an email to sandy@maryandmikecare.com.
